Even since ALTON was founded in the U.S., those initial founding and those ongoing costs, as well as the State's annual filing fees, vary significantly. In our rates to our clients we have taken into account all the costs associated with a business start-up and provide them with a total and transparent rate for all services including fees.
For a company that operates in the U.S., the annual fees charged by the state are quite different for a Limited Liability Company (LLC) or a Corporation than they are for a company doing business in Germany.
Even a U.S. LLC or Corporation which sits exclusively in Germany is required to have an official U.S. address of the company, as well as a Registered Agent as their official contact for the authorities in the U.S.
Under its Founding Packages (varying from 3, 6, and 12 months) ALTON provides this Registered Agent service. Thereafter, if a client company still requires our Registered Agent Services, our annual charge for this is very reasonable.
Included in each of ALTON's Office Services Packages is that we provide our clients with an official company address. Depending on their package choice, the monthly rates varies between $109 and $169.
The above mentioned additional services are not required by U.S. companies which have their own business location (office/warehouse) in the United States. However, there are also ongoing costs directly associated with the existence of a U.S. company: such as an annual fee ($230) for the Commercial Register in Florida. And, a LLC must also prepare and file an Annual Report for which the state charges a filing fee.
